State Cyberbullying Laws Map

State and Federal Bullying Information

Most states have laws to address bullying, harassment, and hazing. Some have a coordinator to direct the state's violence prevention efforts, and some hold activities to highlight those efforts. To view a state's information, click on the state in the map below.

Federal Anti-Bullying Information

The Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act is part of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. It provides federal support to promote school safety but does not specifically address bullying and harassment in schools.
